What Is the Relationship Skills Bootcamp?

Developed by Terry Real, the Relationship Skills Bootcamp is a two-day immersive workshop grounded in his Relational Life Therapy model. 

Led by certified RLT facilitators, this experience teaches practical skills for communication, accountability, boundary setting, and conflict repair. 

This is not passive learning. Participants engage in guided exercises, small group work, and structured reflection designed to create meaningful relational shifts. The Bootcamp is an educational workshop, not therapy.

No. The Bootcamp is an educational workshop, not therapy. While the experience can be personal and emotionally meaningful, it is structured as skills based learning delivered in a group setting. Participants are encouraged to seek individual or couples therapy if they need ongoing clinical support.

Yes. Individuals are welcome. While many participants attend as couples, the skills taught are equally valuable for individuals who want to improve communication, boundaries, and relational patterns.

The Bootcamp can be helpful for couples experiencing tension or disconnection. However, if there is active abuse, untreated addiction, or immediate safety concerns, we recommend seeking licensed clinical support before attending.

Yes. Mental health professionals often attend to experience the Relational Life Therapy model in action. Participation is required. This is not an observation only training.

Yes. Participants agree to respect the privacy of others. While facilitators maintain professional standards, the group format means confidentiality also depends on mutual respect among attendees.

Relational Life Therapy is a skills based approach to relationships developed by Terry Real. It focuses on accountability, clear communication, boundary setting, and structured conflict repair. The Bootcamp introduces these principles in an experiential format.
